Neighbouring First Nation communities are host to annual powwows, colourful and lively celebrations reflective of local aboriginal culture. Complete with traditional dress, drums and food the powwows are packed with exciting and exhilarating sites and sounds. One of the largest powwows in Ontario?s Northwest is the Eagle Lake First Nation powwow, going strong for over 20 years.
